
Chris John
Director/Owner
Ms. John earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Education from Rochester University. She has worked in early childhood and preschool settings since 1989, including teaching experience within the Chippewa Valley School District and Utica Community Schools.
In addition to her classroom experience, Ms. John brings several years of leadership experience in both nonprofit and tuition-based early childhood programs. Most recently, she served as a highly successful Director at a well-respected early learning center in Rochester, where she led program growth, staff development, and family engagement initiatives.
Ms. John has been married to her husband, Julian, since 2014. Together, they have a blended family of five children and are proud grandparents to six grandchildren. Chris and Julian are residents of the Grosse Ile community, where they also have extended family with long-standing roots.
Chris is deeply committed to providing high-quality early education and fostering a nurturing, supportive environment where children and families can thrive.

Julian John
Owner
Mr. John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester in England and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University.
Mr. John spent 30 years working as an engineer for a large global automobile manufacturer, where he held roles spanning both technical leadership and business management. He was responsible for overseeing significant portions of the company’s powertrain portfolio and concluded his career in the role of Global Chief Engineer before retiring.
Mr. John has been married to Chris since 2014. Together, they have a blended family of five children and are proud grandparents to five grandchildren. Julian and Chris are residents of the Grosse Ile community and also have extended family with long-standing ties to the area.
Julian is committed to supporting high-quality early education and believes in creating environments where children and families feel valued, supported, and set up for long-term success.
