Nutrition Assistant Job Responsibilities

​Essential Functions:

• Provides assistance to the Nutritional Director

• Preparation of all menu items as by the Nutrition Director

• Serve all food items as noted on the daily menu to all classrooms

• Provide all students with allergy and dietary restrictions with applicable substitutions as determined by each individual's need.

• Uphold the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.

• Assist staff with any food related needs or questions.

• Fill in for an absent classroom staff member as needed.

• Attend and participate in all staff meetings.

• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Takes over all cooking responsibilities when Nutritional Director is absent.

Requirements:

• Background Check

• TB Test

• Willing to complete onboarding trainings

• Reliable Transportation

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

Shift Details/Pay Rate:

Part-Time (can be a sub position also)

Days Vary

$15-$18 per hour
