Infant Program

Our Infant Program supports our youngest learners, serving children from 6 weeks through 12 months of age. In this classroom, our teachers create a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment through strong relationship-building with both infants and their families. We believe that trusting partnerships with parents are essential to supporting each child’s early development.

Infants are offered daily whole-body and sensory-based experiences designed to encourage exploration and support the achievement of important developmental milestones. Early developmental skills may include holding the head up independently, babbling and cooing, grasping and holding objects for increasing periods of time, and reaching for toys and materials. As infants grow, teachers support major developmental progressions such as rolling over, sitting independently, pulling up to stand, crawling, and taking first steps.

Each infant’s daily routine is individualized to meet their unique needs. Families play an active role in guiding their child’s schedule, including feeding, sleeping, and care preferences, ensuring consistency between home and school. Weather permitting, infants enjoy outdoor time twice daily, allowing them to experience fresh air, natural light, and age-appropriate exploration of the natural environment.
